What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it — written plainly, and kept to what running our work actually requires.
Who We Are
Sevrum Technology is a software outsourcing company based in Lalitpur, Nepal. We build web, mobile, and custom software for clients around the world, and we run dedicated engineering teams on their behalf.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through sevrum.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@sevrum.com.
Information We Collect
We only ask for what we need to reply to you and to run our business. In practice that falls into three groups:
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you write in a contact or enquiry form.
- Information we receive during an engagement — project documentation, credentials, and any data your systems expose to the team working on them, handled under the contract we sign with you.
- Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring site, gathered so we can keep the site running and understand which pages are useful.
How We Use It
We use the information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support the work you have engaged us for, send you material you have asked for, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and improve the site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the contents of your enquiry for anything other than answering it.
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary — they keep the site working and remember choices you make. Others support privacy-conscious analytics that tell us, in aggregate, how the site is used.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site remains usable without them, though some conveniences will not persist between visits.
Sharing and Service Providers
We share personal information only where it is needed to do the work: with service providers who host our site, send our email, or process our analytics, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Every provider we use is bound to handle the information on our instructions and to protect it to a standard at least as strong as our own.
Client Data and Confidentiality
Data belonging to a client's systems stays the client's. Our teams access it only to the extent an engagement requires, under signed confidentiality terms and least-privilege access. When an engagement ends we return or securely delete the working copies we hold, apart from what we must retain for legal or audit reasons.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries are kept for up to twenty-four months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Contract, invoicing, and tax records are kept for as long as Nepali law requires. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls scoped to the people who need them, managed device policies, and routine review of the accounts and integrations we run. No system is perfect, but we treat a security issue as a first-priority incident and will tell affected parties promptly if one occurs.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

International Transfers
We work with clients and providers outside Nepal, so information may be processed in other countries. Where that happens we use providers who commit to recognised data-protection standards and contractual safeguards covering the transfer.
Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
